Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) remains a major thrust of the National Health Mission of India. RCH programs are also increasing in their complexity due to the increasing basket of services and increasing resources. There is, therefore, a growing need for program managers/ healthcare staff to have the requisite knowledge and skills to effectively manage the RCH programs, globally. Empower executed various projects in the field of MNCH including design, development, and deployment of e-learning content; digitization of content; designing and implementation of e-learning platforms to develop an in-depth understanding of technical and programmatic issues related to reproductive and child health programs.
Some of the key marquee projects include:
Develop e-Learning content and animated videos to build the capacity of frontline healthcare workers in Anglophone, Francophone, and Lusophone countries on Maternal and Child Health (English and French)
Project Background
Course on Effective Pharmaceutical system for improving MNCH Indicators under The Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (MTaPS) Program, funded by USAID Client.
In this project, Empower is building the capacity of front-line workers on the general overview of the Pharmaceutical System and the importance of its components for sustainability in improving the MNCH indicators like preventing deaths and the number of diseases in the population.
Our Approach
Designed and developed eLearning courses for multiple countries to tackle MNCH program issues. These courses are designed to increase the capacity, skill, and understanding of various healthcare professionals and ensure the appropriate management of patients and other individuals to reduce MNCH mortality rates. These courses are adapted to each target country by using the country’s official language and using current information from their respective ministries of health.
